Sausage Gravy
Ingredients
1 lb. Woodbridge Breakfast Sausage
Medium White Sauce
1 cup milk, scalded
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour (can substitute with corn starch or potato starch)
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Directions
Put breakfast sausage in pan over medium heat to brown. Drain and set aside.
Make medium white sauce.
Melt butter in pan over medium heat and add flour.
Stirring constantly, slowly add milk. (a whisk works best for this)
Cook until thick and smooth.
Add salt and pepper.
Add breakfast sausage back to pan.
Serve warm over your favorite biscuits.
